My family has had good tickets on the west side for decades, where they sit and politely clap. I have sat elsewhere where the atmosphere is different.
One thing that kills the vibe, IMO, is how the whole blasted event these days is turned into a commercial. "Get ready for the Soutwest Airlines Wave!!!" I'm not just talking about BYU games, but all games in general.
