I agree on that. Maxwell will have a much bigger impact for sure. I'm really excited to see what they do with it. They should have a Investor Battery and Drive-train Day in a few months (no date given as of right now). I bet we hear about a new battery chemistry using what they have improved on and combining it with what they have acquired through Maxwell.
Tesla already had their own version of AI learning before acquiring DeepScale ( upon writing this I thought Tesla wrote it from scratch but I don't know if they went outside and had another company write it for them, if they did, it well could have been DeepScale from the beginning, and then they just decided to buy them up recently, I'd have to look into that more). I think this will only improve on what they already have.

I don't think Level 5 is possible until there is an industry solution with collaboration and data standards.
