Very fair points. I used to be critical of Tesla wondering if the business model
was sustainable. What has changed my mind is realizing that Tesla is far ahead of others in regards to driving down the cost of the batteries that other EVs will have to be priced significantly higher or sell them at a loss. This is a major competitive advantage that will see Tesla holding onto their market share. Some of this was touched on in this video:

I don't think Level 5 is possible until there is an industry solution with collaboration and data standards.
