Thats their right. But it doesnt seem like they would be able to offer credit
For these classes. Its interesting that the accrediting body allows it in todays political climate. I can understand offering credit if the classes were from a historical perspective, but at BYU these courses are required as a faith-building effort. I obviously think BYU should offer religion classes, but they should be like traditional institute courses.
