Huge deal? I think it’s bad and the team was appropriately punished but don’t think it’s the scandal of the century either.

If sign stealing is ok and part of baseball then taking that and using technology to do it doesn’t seem like that big of deal. As long as you aren’t secretly filming practices or stealing sign books or whatever I don’t see how it’s that bad.

I am an Oakland A’s fan not an astros fan. I am also not a baseball purist. I think they should be punished but don’t think it’s as bad as everyone says. If the underlying conduct(sign stealing) is part of baseball and allowed and it’s just the method people have an issue with I see it as a bad thing but not as big as everyone makes it out to be.
