It's not fair to the teams that had to play against the Astros. In my mind, the title should have been stripped, and I'm not alone in this thought. Manfred was shooting from the hip, hoping that his punishment fit the crime...it didn't come close.
It should cost any of those players the HOF unless the confess the severity of the actions which won't happen. One man taking steroids can slightly change the order of the game. Nine guys cheating, under the direction of manager and coaches, to gain the upper edge is more egregious.
