Exactly. I am familiar with a situation where
a pair of sisters were homeschooled 2nd grade through 8th.
They had a private tutor for several subjects and competed at a high level in sports, traveling around the country.
One sister went to Stanford and excelled in her sport and is now playing professionally and models, and the other sister became the conference player of the year in her sport in a smaller NCAA conference.
I also know a guy from a wealthy family in South Carolina that was homeschooled through 8th grade and then went to a private high school, excelled in sports, and later went to a fairly elite private college.
The CB idea of home-schooling is not always what it looks like in other circumstances.

I wrote a big paper on this once. My conclusion was that for kids with competent parents and an active social life,
