That maybe true but what I’m saying is that LDS homeschooled guys/gals who then
Go to the academy don’t acclimate well. I’ve spoken with my brothers (USAFA and USMA) and cousins (USN) who went to the academies and we all agree. The homeschooled LDS guys do great academically but all struggle as officers and leaders. We couldn’t identify a single one who is doing well in their career. Maybe it’s because the ones I know are all from Utah and went from one bubble to another. I’m sure there are some lds homeschooled cadets who do well but we haven’t met them. One of my good non-lds buddies was homeschooled (up to 8th grade) and is doing awesome.

My brother and I have been distinguished graduates of every formal training we’ve attended. Active LDS guys can succeed in the military.

TLDR: The academies do accept a lot of homeschooled cadets but those who are homeschooled and active lds have a difficult time integrating with their peers.
