I hope Zach can learn to read defenses and go through his progression like Baylor does.
Zach clearly has the better arm, but his decision making needs work. If he can get that aspect of his game up to Baylor's level, he will have a great season.
If he blames his failings on others and doesn't take ownership of them, I don't have much hope he'll make the need improvement. Of course football is a team sport, and if course a QB's performance depends a great deal on the play our the other 10 guys on the field. But if a QB doesn't prepare like it all depends on him, he'll never reach his potential.
In other words, I hope Zach's attitude about the
ownership of his performance is quite a bit different than yours is.
