There are always outliers...
for instance was Alex Smith really the #1 overall pick? Well yes he was but his career certainly didn’t confirm that he should have been.
Weird things do happen but this probably will not be one of them. ZE has a very long way to go to even be a draft pick let alone a 1st round draft pick. There’s probably a lot of guys who could be a first round pick if a lot of things occur to make that scenario come to be but the odds are very, very long.
Nothing he has done so far warrants him being considered first round material. So much would need to happen for that to ever be a real possibility. It’s just silly at this point and honestly unfair to him.
