Did travel restrictions prevent an outbreak?
Doesn’t seem like a rational person would brag about inadequate action that didn’t head off a national emergency.
Airport screening only identified 1 in 3 people carrying the virus, and they didn’t even screen people coming in from Italy before Trump announced the European travel ban.
Blindly putting faith in the ban and then not monitoring populations to contain outbreaks early seems like a major blunder.
Instead of talking up the inadequate travel ban, you ought to be talking about what we learned from it and how to move forward.
