What does it look like if we blow it up for someone who most everyone has never heard of?
Do the 4* came then? Go good 3* may not even come then. How many winning seasons will this no-namer need before bigger better players start coming?
With KS the players love him, talent HAS improved even if the winning had not (all during a time when scheduling has improved and been more difficult than ever). These are growing pains... the team is developing the needed muscle to perform among P5s... not a time to change it up unless Andy or Bevell come calling...
During these times I think it is beyond important that BYU has a coach of color. Keeping KS is the right thing to do not just optically but he also he still has potential to be what we all hoped he’d be.
Like the DN article says there really are no excuses this season. We have a good team, this team should do well if it tanks many people including myself will lose faith... but tanks means below 500.
Changing now for the field we have now is not the right decision
