Cut non-revenue programs and further cement their dominance and secure a bigger market share in the various sources of revenue (Big bowls, TV contracts, market share, etc. etc. etc.).
If Stanford were to cut a bunch of non-revenue sports when things were good, they would get blasted. It would probably be a Title IX issue and an extremely bad PR move. Now, no one is even second guessing it. It's like Billionaires that are cutting back on pay for low wage earners. It's something they would love to do, but would never be able to get away with. Except now it's ok. Because we don't want to kill grandma. It's the right thing to do.
Same with the P5/G5 deal. The P5 has always been afraid of anti-trust issues — maybe not afraid, but at least hesitant — so they have given tokens of inclusion (e.g., G5 autobid to a NY6 bowl, representative of the CFP committee, etc.). They've done just enough to keep it legal. But it's been pretty clear they have no plans to fully include non-P5 schools in the big-money deals, and they would love to treat the G5 like they treat FCS (token home games, modified transfer rules, etc.). COVID is just another opportunity to do what they've always wanted, and now they are allowed to in the name of safety.
