Companies everywhere keep giving similar percentage raises to their workforce

regardless of current income. How long can that nonsense continue? The gap widens and widens and widens. You make $20K? here is your $600 raise. You make $100K? Here is your $3K raise. And next year the discrepancy grows and the next and the next and the next.
