Not at all. I fish because I love being outdoors and enjoying God's creation.

I also eat what I catch. Of course the rules prevent me from eating anything I catch since I'm required by law to put back anything on the do not keep list.

I was showing that I understood what the response was saying. He/She never once said it was wrong or bad.

The comment was if the issue was causing pain made the OP question C&R fishing, then why fish at all? Meaning you're still causing pain when catching fish to eat.
