The interference did not impede his ability to make the catch
Go back and watch. No one touched him and the defender was to the side not in front of Milne. He had plenty of space. If he can't reliably catch when defenders are close or bearing down on him then that's not great.

He dropped the punt because of kick catch interference. Blaming him for that is like blaming a receiver for getting
