Options makers exception makes naked shorting possible still.

Its widely suspected this has continued since the GFC. This is evidenced by shares failing to be delivered within the settlement period on some failed shorts.

Its not even worth arguing with someone that denies this exists. How much it happens is absolutely up for debate but saying the elite dont use it is foolishness.
