morphed into heroin and Oxycontin, which later resulted in the loss of the custody of his child, and prison based on decisions he made while on said drugs. Alcohol and pot use by teenagers is not something to take lightly. I've seen people end up just fine when they got older, but than others end up addicted to much harder stuff with their life ruined like my brother. It's about a 50/50 chance for one or the other in the individuals I've observed. Is that the type of chance someone wants to take with a child? I sure hope not, and I wish for my brother's sake there had been an intervention early on in his life. Could have saved him and his former wife and child a lot of heartache and misery.
