the program was killed. Having served in scouting many years and having felt the frustration with the BSA that many here have expressed, I'm generally not sad to see it go away. Scouting when done right provided a lot of valuable lessons and experiences to boys. Unfortunately I feel like the new youth program for boys is falling short in a some ways - and I realize that is largely due to Covid and local implementation. I am finding myself trying to fill that void where needed, which is fine, but I think there is value in involving other men and boys in these lessons.
