FYI, in 2012 the committee had us as a 12 seed on their S-Curve but bumped us
down to a 14 to accommodate for Sunday play.

Since 2007, BYU has 8 NCAA tourney trips. We have been overseeded once, “correct” seed 4 times, and underseeded 3 times.

In 2003, BYU had an RPI of 19, a Kenpom of 24 and got a 12 seed, against a UConn team that had an RPI of 28 & Kenpom 22

There is correlation, but not causation. More important is wins over tourney

Only because you don't have years like 2003 and 2004 in the mix — otherwise, it'd be significantly worse
