P5 schools all agreed to not pull scholies for poor athletic performance, but there are a lot of work arounds.
1) The school could make up an injury and offer the kid a non-athletic scholarship to stay in school.
2) The school can withdraw the scholarship for a violation of team rules or if he's ineligible at any time
3) Give immense pressure to quit the team
