Tiger Woods at the Fred Meyer’s in Portland...in the checkout line together.

He was with his parents...and the group of guys I was with all played golf so we all immediately recognized him. He was in Portland for the US Am at Pumpkin Ridge and apparently no one else there recognized him. I think he was 16/17 (ie pre rock star famous). We awkwardly said “hello” to them as we were both in the parking lot going/getting into our cars.
