A couple had recently moved into our ward from California and they were reaching out to different people in the ward trying to get to know people. The wife called my wife one day and said "hey my husband is Willie Nelsons Nephew (actually Willies wifes nephew) we are going to see him play tonight, do you want to go with us and hang out backstage with him and his band?" Ummm yeah, we will do that.
So now I have a picture with Willie rockin my Y hat. His wife was super cool and good to us and it was fun to get to know them all a little bit. We all shook his hand when it was time to go, but he made my hcbw give him a hug, his hand may have brushed a little bit lower on her back than a normal hug, not quite pervy but not quite gentlemanly either. Good times.
