My favorite line from these guys is when the justify paying them to be your buyer's agent and explain that you don't need to care about their 3% commission because the sellers pays. Yes, and my offer is then 3% less than an offer I make without you. They will try to explain that math is different in their world. They stick to that claim so well that it seems that they don't understand it themselves.
