I am not tossing out those things
A couple things though. Luke had a good Freshman and Sophomore year, despite the injuries. His first season without injury (until the very end) he was the CFB RB of the year. He did not have a senior year. When talking about scheme, remember that Jamaal had the benefit of a lot of read option with freak athlete/talent Taysom Hill, which definitely opened up holes for him. Taysom Hill was way more dynamic and athletic than Brandon Doman (who helped open some holes for Luke. It goes both ways.

Harvey was a very good (and in my opinion) border line possible great college RB. Statistically, you can say Harvey was great. But Harvey had the benefit of a better OL than the other two, and Harvey had the benefit of playing with some of the Best QB/TE talent at BYU as well, in Max Hall and Dennis Pitta and Andrew George. Harvey was a great bruising runner that could finesse a bit too, and he benefitted from being part of offenses that probably had better overall talent next to him than Luke or Jamaal. Schematically, opposing defenses had to be more concerned about the BYU pass attack when Harvey was playing, so defenses had to play a little more honest.

Of these three I would rank them 1. Luke, 2. Jamaal, and 3. Harvey. Overall for BYU, if I was able to sign them out of high school (I realize this part is different from the GOAT issue), I would pick 1. Luke, 2. Jenkins, 3. Jamaal, 4. Willis, 5. Unga, 6. Brown.

Also, it is no good to compare long pro careers to short ones and then assume that is apples to apples with "short" and "long" college careers.
