Yes, but if people are ok considering someone with a career less than 4 years
... for the GOAT, then Harvey and Luke are in the discussion. Regardless of the issue for not completing all four years, if people consider Harvey for the GOAT, they should consider Luke too, and realize that though he had many better statistics than Harvey, some will be a bit less than Harvey due to injury in Luke's case.

Bottom line for me is that Luke was easily the most talented, created the most "magic", had the best individual year, had the best statistics really except for career yardage, was viewed as the best CFB RB one year (which neither Jamaal or Harvey were even in the running for) by outsiders, and Luke did enough and showed enough in his injury riddled years that he simply was the best, even though career yardage is a bit shorter than the other two. Also realize that Luke could have reached 2,000 yards rushing in 2001, rather than the 1,500 or 1,600 yards that he had. In many games Luke was not even playing for much of the second half and he did not average many carries per game in 2001. If Crowton wanted to, he could have turned Luke into not just Doak Walker winner, but in the Heisman conversation, if he gave Luke 5-6 more carries a game.
