As far as what they did they will be remembered for one special season. All 3 finished around the same in post season recognition. You d be hard pressed to convince me with Sark and the wins the team had in 96 that Zach was better this year than Sark in 96
I would say recency plays into some people's perception of Zach, but the COVID thing which allowed BYU to shine in the national spotlight plays into seeing Zach on the national stage much more than a normal year I think gave us all a taste of something we haven't had probably since that 96 season. It was a special special year, but it was just one special year.
