We had school from Labor day to June ~28. Standardized tests were mid May
And basically the last month and a half was free time field day, watch movies, clean the room, kickball, etc.

This does speak against the argument that without standardized tests the students would be taught more as well as the argument that more days means better education.

But it is was a winning compromise in the district since teachers got paid more and parents didn't have to pay for daycare/sumer camp.
