It was far more structured. He had specific lists of things to do. He had a firm fixed schedule. He had printed lists of what he supposed to do. He had no other kids distracting him. For the first time in his life, he got straight As.
When we just went back to "normal" school ... his grades in on of those classes dropped from As to Cs and Ds.... as the class went from structured to "free flowing" ...
I think *HE* did better in that system ... something we are seriously evaluating for next year and how we help him get THAT environment at college, knowing that *THAT* seems to work best for him.
BUT ... that is probably not true for everyone.
