That game was a rough one, but Wilson was a huge part of the near comeback, and had a last second throw that caught the eyes of every scout. That unsuccessful Hail Mary was one of his most talked about passes, and showed that even under duress and what is considered his worst game of last season, he still managed to put the team in position to pull off a victory.
I have no idea why a flag was not thrown, nor why those 2 players were even able to play in the 2nd half. I don’t remember a more blatant uncalled “roughing the passer”. There was also the first TD that was called back on a strange call, that there National commentators could not believe. I hate playing the victim, but that game will go down as one of the worst called games I have ever seen at any level, and it was not on Wilson that they lost.
