We're talking about whether 14- and 15-year old boys are competitive with women who are the best in the world in the prime of their careers and whether a 43-year old man is similarly competitive with women who are the best in the world in the prime of their careers.
That such a question is even being asked is proof that there should be different categories for men and women in terms of competition. There are very men who are 14, 15, or 43 years old who can compete with men who are in the prime of their athletic careers.
