Let me be clear: I’m saying this and only this: people read too much into these
scrimmages.
I have no earthly idea how a fully competitive match would go between a u-15 elite squad of boys and the USWNT.
But to assume that this one closed door scrimmage is proof positive of anything is a strange hill to die on.
Even if other women’s teams scrimmaged other u-15 teams.
The dream team example was used to illustrate how these things are misunderstood.
