Except that historically we have created divisions to promote fairness
First and foremost, we've created men's and women's divisions in most sports.

From there we've sliced and diced to promote fairness and competition. Large states have multiple high school divisions based on school size. In wrestling and boxing, we have weight classes.

Nobody expects a 130 pound dude to stand a chance against a 240 pound dude in the boxing ring. So we created a division. And what if it is more prestigious to win the heavyweight title (as opposed to the featherweight title), or to win a 6A football championship (as opposed to a 1A championship)? If we promoted only inclusion and listened only to feelings, small fighters, small wrestlers, and highschools with 30 kids in them would never compete. So we create divisions. Which in a way IS inclusive because it gives everyone a fair shot to reasonable compete, but in a way NOT inclusive because the "lesser" divisions may not have the prestige.

But is there a better way? I don't think there is.

Based off of "inclusivity" you are suggesting we allow biological males to dominate females? It is asanine and every argument for it is so flawed. They all boil down to feelings and non-realities that a few people out there wish were realities.
