Sadly a lost skill. My parents had the absolute best penmanship. I am amazed

when I read through letters and journal entries they wrote by hand. My penmanship was never very good. But man, my parents were raised at a time when penmanship was really stressed in school and it is a wonderful talent - even in today's world. Handwritten letters and cards are still highly valued.
