Ouch.

Yeah - I'm on-board with the idea that "regular" students shouldn't be supplementing athletics. They can pay for tickets - fine. Or some optional "activity fee" that allows access to all athletic events.

But $1,250 a year so that the school can have athletics? Count me out if I were a student.

Only about 30-35 teams make a profit each year. BYU is one of them.

This isn’t entirely the full story. Athletics has to cut checks to the various colleges. BYU’s tuition is dirt cheap
