Certains--USC, UCLA, Oregon, Washington, Texas, Oklahoma, Clemson, Florida St., Miami, Notre Dame, Michigan, Michigan St., Ohio St., Wisconsin, Penn St., Alabama, Auburn, Georgia, Florida, Texas A&M, LSU, Tennessee, North Carolina.

Those are 23 blue bloods (or close to blue bloods)

Next group--Duke, Kentucky, Ole Miss, Nebraska, Iowa, Oklahoma St., Kansas, Virginia Tech, Cal, Stanford, Indiana.

Now we are at 34. Two of those would have to be left out, even assuming I got the list right. I don't see Utah's name on that list. And even beyond that list there are schools with more football and basketball clout that Utah. Think about Arizona St. Arizona. Syracuse. Georgia Tech. Indiana. Lousiville. Missouri. Baylor.--those brands are selected before Utah.

Now we start to reach a pool where Utah's name comes up. TCU, Mississippi St., Boston College. Wake Forest. Pitt. Virginia. Iowa St. Kansas St., Oregon St. Washington St. Colorado. And maybe even BYU.

For Utah fans that are reading this--nobody is making the case that BYU would be in the top 32 either. I certainly couldn't make the case.
