You don’t get it. Let’s say the blue bloods create their own conference
Who in the new conference, this 2nd or 3rd tier, is going to suddenly change colors and consistently beat Utah?
Since the blue bloods already dominate recruiting, nothing will change on that front. So who will start stealing these recruiting advantages that Utah allegedly has?
Whoever is not in the super conference, will essentially be on the same page or worse than Utah.
We have seen time and again, the only people who consistently outperform Utah in conference, are those who have markedly better resources and advantages.
No one in the second tier will have that.

Maybe, but all that does is put Utah consistently at the top of the rest. I don’t see a bad option for Utah
