If the remaining 8 stay, I assume ESPN would require they get to 10 and have to honor the existing contract because of many factors. Next go round will see a drop, or flatline. No increase.
This all started in May when the B12 attempted to renegotiate their deal early, and ESPN/Fox said no. It is assumed that that is when Texas and OU went looking for more $$$, and to the SEC.Since they already said no, they are sort of stuck with the deal through 2025.
