knew that we had some serious talent at the QB position. He dropped back and launched the ball down field 40-50 yards and with ease. He had perfect form and a fantastic release along with the right size and frame and just amazing mechanics. The pass was incomplete, but I remember the UW fans I was sitting with all got quiet - like, uh ohhhh this kid is for real and this could be a serious problem. Remember, UW was the favorite for much of his recruiting process, so these fans knew all about him. That very first pass must have been sucky to watch. It was so obvious that this kid was a legit 5-star recruit and BYU was very lucky to get him.
