Going back to the bigger picture....
It's obvious that Freshman QB's are coming in much better prepared to compete immediately than they have in the past. It's obvious that BYU is attracting talent from all over the country at this position.

The question is: how prepared are we to deal with the obvious inherent issue that will plague every freshman QB at every level and every program. How prepared are we to do a mental evaluation and have some solid mentoring? At what point is it beyond the kids on the team to work it out and establish themselves as the leader and how much are the coaches responsible for stepping in and getting the team on the same page. How much better would it have been to get Riley on the same page and turn him into a mentor and a helper instead of an enemy? Most importantly, how much of this is possible?
