I was in the nosebleeds (xx). It surprised me how little I could hear up there.
I couldn’t hear the music or the ref calls. It was loud around me, but I think I heard louder in the game against USU when they benched Jake and Riley saved the game, then again I was sitting on the East side then. I was actually thinking about how much louder RES was in 2016 than what I was hearing on Saturday, but I figured it was from sitting up that high.

Yes BYU was penalized for crowd noise. Also, Dowis died while driving drunk about 5 years ago. He had a BAC of 0.233.
