My discussion of ripping on people was highlighting our response to Noall.

You apparently took it to mean that the poster who shared was ripping on Dowis. Which I don't think is the case at all. That's why I shared the theoretical way I wrote up the Max Hall news. It wasn't ripping on him so much as providing factually accurate information about notable moments in his life. But it would still be unnecessary. I just think we should be more aware and careful when sharing negative/defamatory news.

Yes BYU was penalized for crowd noise. Also, Dowis died while driving drunk about 5 years ago. He had a BAC of 0.233.
