You may be right, but...
the MANNER in which the game was won cannot be dismissed. Combine that with the VERY significant events this season:
Joining the Big 12, Kalani contract extension, groundbreaking NIL deal with Built Bar and social media announcement, continuing stadium improvements, the unveiling of the Built4Life program, and placing and expanding Billy Nixon's role as the executive coordinator of player experience and equipment operations. The latter being a significant game-changer in future marketing, branding and recruiting influence. In my opinion, that's decent material to add to a foundation. But you are right, I'm humbled and grateful for the short-term successes and I'll tread cautiously forward with my enthusiasm and celebrations (ok, maybe I'll celebrate obnoxiously, sorry!!). But, I certainly don't want the "pride cycle" to be our downfall!
