Agree 1988 was a blip. Also agree it is too early to tell if this BYU win is...
more than a blip. However, this BYU win and team has a lot common with the Utah 1993 team and win. Coach has been in place for a few years, seems to be creating the right culture, etc. This suggests the next several years of the rivalry will look more like the 90s and 2000's than the 2010's (for Utah) and the 70s and 80s for BYU. In the 90's and 2000's, the rivalry was split 5-5 between the teams. I bet we will see competitive closely fought games in the next few matchups.
