I thought that's what I was saying. But I probably wasn't clear.
I was contesting the idea that he threw any punches before getting his butt kicked. He didn't.
I agree that the U cheerleader was not in the wrong for punching him - I was trying to portray that when I said that the U cheerleader didn't know his intentions and he (the tackler) learned a lesson that day. Don't go tackling people thinking you're being funny - because there's a good chance they won't think it's funny.
