moron and someone I might secretly want to punch in the face. I'm not even going to comment on your argument that the BYU fans' poor sportsmanship was evidence of how bad the cheerleader was acting besides to say that its ridiculous. As a student during the 90s I said and did some very questionable things at rivalry games, including one basketball game in the Marriott Center where a bunch of Utah fans were chanting "F-U-BYU" and flipping us the bird. I'm embarrassed that I responded with a version of the same, and at the time felt entirely justified in doing it because someone had done it to me. That's immature thinking. Each of us is responsible for what we do.
I think we're all agreeing that even incredibly poor behavior on the cheerleader's part doesn't justify someone jumping out of the stands and tackling him. And I want to unequivocally condemn violence by our fans. Being a responsible adult means you don't resort to violence when you're angry at a sporting event.
