that didn't get screened or were denied care during the shutdowns. If my wife had been diagnosed and then they denied her care, that would have been the worst thing for us emotionally. Knowing there's a cancer that may be very slow growing or may be very aggressive and not knowing would have been a nightmare.
Even if her mammogram didn't happen to be scheduled for February and was scheduled for March, then delayed for months and months as they worked through the backlog, that could have been catastrophic for our family.
