It is surprising to me that there isnt a $50k deductible plan out there. At least not that I know. I'd be happy to
pay $1k/month for a policy with a $10m max lifetime payout and a $50k annual deductible.
I would think something like that would pencil but apparently it doesn't?

Yeah, like when the price of a "regular" surgery went from $1,200 to $10k within a year of the ACA. Graft is everywhere.
