My primary reason to eventually vaccinate kids (in no hurry due to low risk of
complications from it now) is that they will eventually catch COVID. It will be with us for the rest of our lives, so we might as well start building immunity so that future infections are more like a cold than a life-threatening illness when they get older. If they somehow made it long enough without contracting it naturally, eventually they would be at more risk when they finally do catch it.
