that a different variant won't have a different affinity for kids.
Delta has acted in such a different way that i think that might be possible.
Though that's not enough for me to push the needle on that one.
There is also the slight concern of long covid.. I've seen so many messed up people post covid. And they're not all just crazy like the typical patients that fit those symptoms. It makes me a little uneasy that we really don't know what covid does long term (and that's not to say that vaccines don't prevent all infections.. aware of that)
With that said, if we do vaccinate our kids that age, it will likely be for convenience sake (Hawaii, events, school, sports)
I have slight unease about the fact that its not a 1-2 shot thing.. This is a 6 mo booster for the foreseeable future.. With that said I'm not THAT worried about it either.
I'll do what I normally do in medicine.. won't be the first or the last to do something.
